CAN I TAKE THE BRAVO YOGURT IF I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT?
Bravo is usually very well tolerated even by people with allergies and intolerances. The lactose is removed from the final product because it is consumed by the bacteria during the fermentation process and it actually reduces such intolerances by aiding in the rebalancing of the immune system.
DO THE POWDERS IN THE STARTER KIT NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED? Powders are very stable thus they can stay for weeks at room temperature. However, if the room temperature is too high or if you do not plan to use them immediately it is preferable to store them in the refrigerator (not freezer) far from humidity inside their original envelope.
DO I NEED A YOGURT MAKING MACHINE?
No, yogurt makers MUST NOT be used. The high temperature of the yogurt maker kills many of the bacteria and yeasts of the product.
HOW CAN I DISSOLVE ALL THE CLUMPS?
Take a couple of tablespoons of milk already boiled and cooled and pour them into a cup. Mix all the powders with this tiny amount of milk; transfer the blend into the rest of the milk. Or try using a whisk to mix in the powders.
WHAT DO I DO AFTER 24 HOURS OF FERMENTATION IS NOT THICK AS EXPECTED?
Wait another 12-24 hours without mixing or disturbing it. Fermentation is a time and temperature dependent process. If the room temperature of the environment where you left the bowl to ferment was too low, it will require longer (up to a total of 48 hours) to reach the appropriate thickness.
HOW LONG CAN I STORE A BATCH OF YOGURT IN THE REFRIGERATOR AFTER PREPARATION?
